Ahhhhh.... Happiness is a cup of hot chai.
*sits in her chair and stares blissfully at the computer screen* GOD I feel good.
I had.... a GREAT day today. ^-^
I woke up and had a nice hot shower. I always forget how nice a wunnerful steamy shower is. I even got to sing in the shower because none of my roomies were in the room at the time, hence no one could hear me.... ahhh. Then I got out and popped online for a bit (hence my earlier entry) then I went off on a little trek down High Street. I had a yummy pita from the Pita Pit for lunch. Then I trekked onward down the street. It was cold outside, but not too cold, and it was really nice to be outside. I felt very refreshed.
I stopped into this one store that I can't seem to remember the name of, but it was most interesting. It sold all sorts in fun, fantastic clothes. Very artsy, I suppose, and bohemian, with pageboy hats and fun huge carrying packs and furry shirts that have no back and such. Then you go into this room in the back that had vintage and used clothing. JOYGASM! Furry coats!! Big-ass scarves!! Colourful skirts that look like they were made in freaking india! Ohh, it was wunnerful. But by far the best part was..... the bongs. Huge, colorful bongs. Sure, sure, they were called "tobacco pipes" on the little sign, but c'mon folks. DERF. And the african bongo drums. Very, very freaking cool. I'll be more than happy to take anyone who wants to come visit me there. >:D
Further along up the street, right next to Starbucks, was an Urban Outfitters. *has second joygasm of the day* Ohhhh sooo many wunnerful things in that store!! Sake sets and tea sets and futons from india and scarves and pageboy hats and cute little undies with matching bras and bowls for asian noodles complete with chopsticks and fun little plaques and necklaces with sanskrit writing on them and old-fashioned oil/incense burning lamps and pinstripe pants and hand-made journals and THE SKIRTS!!! OH THE SKIRTS!!! *falls over in happiness* It fuckin' RULED. You guys have NO IDEA. That is where I am going to spend ALL of my money (whenever I finally get some). *sighs blissfully*
Wheeeeeeee... then later in the day, Harold and I went for coffee at starbucks. and we went back into urban outfitters and bought this fucking awesome little dark brown skirt. it's suede (which means I have to freaking DRY CLEAN IT!!! AUGH!!!) and it buttons all the way down the front and it's SOOOOOOO cute *squeals* yay yay yay!! And then we went over to Starbucks and I had a big old thing of chai latte. and it was good. And, Harold showed me the christmas present he got for Leia, and I AM SO JEALOUS! IT FFREAKING RULES!!! AUUUUUUUUUUGH! *giggles helplessly*
And then I came back here, and I had a lot of restless energy. So guess what I did! I made meself a CD, changed clothes, took me CD player down to the basement to one of the music practice rooms, shut meself in, and? Danced like crazy. I miss that so much. It made me feel SOOOO much better, there's nothing better than the natural high of exercising, and now I'm in this little god-I'm-tired-but-I-Feel-so-good coma state.
It's awesome. I love this feeling....
And in a little bit I am going to go to bed. Not exactly tired, but I hardly have the energy to type this. It's more of, I'm really really relaxed and all I want to do is just lay back... *sighs happily* I'll catch all you lovely people tomorrow!! *gives a hug and a smoooch to everyone of you* good night my darlings!
