HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY KIDS!
well, well, well... I was trying to keep myself to a schedule of relatively early sleep pattern, but THAT got shot straight in the foot tonight. *cackles evilly* I'm gonna post this, do a character bio sheet for mary, and then see what time it is/ if I'm tired yet. Because I KNOW if I go climb into bed now, I will lay there in the dark for like an hour and a half before I get sleepy, so why the hell not spend the time out here? Besides.... I will probably nap a bit tomorrow, but not enough to keep me from hitting the sack early tomorrow night. (And yes, I know that right now is technically Friday, but for me, it's always "today" until either a] the sun has risen or b] I've gone to bed and gotten up the next day. Derf. That's the way it goes. ^^)
HEE HEE HEE!! Today? Was a good day. ^-^ My math TA is awesome, and he's letting me make up some quizzes and homework that I missed. He rules. Arr! Josh, me, and his friend Adam all went out to dinner tonight because we all had something to celebrate. Josh had an interview for a promotion earlier this week, Adam had something good going on with work or something (not sure exactly what) and I OWNED my slavic midterm, so, yeah! We went to this place called the Genji japanese steakhouse. Basically, you sit around this big-ass table, and there's a grill right in front of you. It's alot like a Mongolian barbecue, except that you pick out what you want from a menu, and they make it bit by bit in front of you (with much showing off on the part of the chef) and serve it to you fresh, as it's made. Tre cool. ^-^
Then? Josh and I killed some time at his house, watching parts of Starwars episode two, and then? AND THEN?! *drumroll pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease* WE WENT AND SAW HARRY POTTER!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! I GOT TO SEE IT BEFORE YOU ALL DID, AND I ONLY HAD TO PAY $5!!!! okay enough with the caps lock. my dorm got about 60 tickets for the first kids who signed up to go and see Harry Potter at 12:01 in the morning. It rooled. Cat, Courtney (two of my roomies), Josh and I all went. We invited Josh at the last minute because Lyndsay decided not to go. Honestly, it might have been better if he hadn't, because he has to get up so damn early in the morning, but *we* really appreciated it, as it meant we didn't have to worry about how we were getting there and back again. ^-^
The movie was friggin' AWESOME... I won't ruin anything, but I think I liked it even a bit more than the first movie. Which is kind of funny, because I actually liked "Chamber of Secrets" the BOOK least out of all of the novels so far. ^_^ Let me just say that Snape was, again, amazing, and Lockhart was cast perfectly. *giggles* heh heh heh.... oh, and does everyone remember the bit with the spiders? Yes, well, Josh is deathly afraid of spiders. *cackles evilly* I know I really shouldn't be laughing, but it was the FUNNIEST thing to see this big, buff guy (he takes like 3 kinds of martial arts) jump out of his pants at the huge friggin' spiders! *grins* He's gonna get me later for not warning him, though... oh well. And just so everyone knows? Nothing that is alive in REAL LIFE On this planet bothers me, as long as it isn't human. The natural world is strange and beautiful to me. It's just the humans that get to me, specially the dead ones. *hint hint* Anyway...
I really have nothing more intelligent to say at this moment, so I'm off to make annoying responses in YOUR livejournals! ARR! *runs off*
