I can call you Betty...
Hee!! I've had quite a good day. ^-^ Yay!
I sorted things out with some close friends of mine that needed clarifying, and that was a load off my mind. Phew! Also, I got my midterm over with.... it could have gone better, but hey, I'm done now, and there's nothing more I can do at the moment. I certainly can't do anything about my grade right now. ^^
I walked to and from my london studies class by myself tonight, and while I know it was sort of not the safest thing to do, I was fine, because I stuck to the well-lit, well-traveled roads through campus. That is, I walked on the sidewalk down the streets where there were a lot of cars going by. ^-^ So, I was okay.
It was very neat to walk by myself at night, when there weren't that many people around... It was very private, and kind of nice. It was windy tonight on campus, and the leaves swirled around me like a snowstorm, and the wind blew my hair all around. Very cool.... ^-^
The lecture tonight was on art history (that is, some of the stuff that's in Britain's art museums) and while the subject is interesting? The woman giving the speech was so boring that even MY teacher was having a hard time not falling asleep. Nicole (the girl who went to the STP concert with me; she lives across the hall from me and is obviously in my London class as well) and I sat around and did hangman, we were so bored. *giggles*
The walk home was much more interesting. I walked to High street (one of the major streets around here; it runs along one side of campus and is one of the longest streets in Columbus. I went into McDonald's and was originally going to get a cheesburger, but I had to go to the bathroom first. So I went into the ladies' room. As I was leaving the stall, this homeless lady came out of the handicapped stall on the end, and asked me if I would take her money and buy her something. Apparently she wasn't supposed to be in restaurant at all. I felt bad for her, so I went up to the counter and bought her a small Hi-C orange like she asked me to, and brought it back to her along with her change. Then she told me that she was a month pregnant and had no place to stay. What do you say to that? "I'm sorry" seems kind of inadequate, and "Good luck" seems kind of flip. So I gave her my best wishes and continued walking up the street. I wanted to give her my scarf, but it didn't occur to me until after I had already left the restaurant, but by then it was already too late.
So I continued walking up the street, and a little further along I made my Discovery of the Night: WE HAVE A PITA PIT IN COLUMBUS!!!! *freaks out* Oh, yummy!! I ate at the Pita Pit down in Athens when I went to visit Joanna a few weeks ago, but I had no idea there was one so close to my house! *is immensely thrilled*
And, now I am happily downloading lots of O.A.R. songs. Maybe I'm a bit behind, but hey, it's all good. I really dunno how recent they are, just a few years I think... ^^ but anyway! Josh got me into them. I went to their website, and guess what! They went to OSU! *does the happy dance* WE RULE! GO BUCKEYES!! MUCK FICHIGAN!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA *runs off cackling*
and now? for some quiz results. ^^

well, derf. I AM laid back about sex (not that I've had it yet) but it's not necessarily true that I don't require some closeness to the person... I mean, no random sex here. But, I guess that's actually pretty accurate.... ^^
and, because I am a WHORE for this game.... ^^ Yes, it's just that good.
