Frizzmaster Zero, AWAY!

*Steals the mom's computer while no one else is home* HAHAHAH, THE PRECIOUS IS MINE!

*cough* SO.

I am back in Ohio! YAY!! And, every single one of you who wants to make a snide remark about Ohio---don't. Seriously. I'm really, really fucking sick of it. This state is not perfect, but if you haven't lived here, trust me, you don't know anything about it. This place is my home, and I'm really glad to be back, and yes I enjoyed Washington, but---I'm glad to be back in Ohio.

SO. I have about the coolest mom on the face of the planet. Not only did she take me straight from the air port to Chipotle saturday night when she picked me up (she remembered, without me asking, that that was what I wanted first when I got back....~<3!) but the very first thing she did the first day I was properly home---Sunday---was show me the RPG that she's been obsessed with all summer, Tales of Symphonia. Mom, I love you. And, dude? Her background for her computer? A screen shot of Link from the upcoming newest Legend of Zelda game. *dies* It's terribly amusing to me that not only does my mother know what E3 is, but she's read more of the reports on games from said convention than *I* have, reads my younger brother's GameSource magazine every time before she lets him have it, and badgers me to play video games with her. My mom RULES.

To this end, I bought her a ceramic replica of the Ocarina of Time while I was in Seattle. *SPORFLE* And...she loved it. HA!!

Yay for being home! Yay for having my car! ...which cost $1,177 to repair. *DEAD* My dad is only having me pay for $550 of it, but still. Ow.

And...still no news from OSU. I even called them today, and the girl I spoke with said they're STILL compiling contracts and whatnot, and I'm getting more nervous everyday. Send luck and good thoughts my way on that note, will you? Cuz man. ;_;

I saw the Village Sunday night with Jo and Andy! God, that was fun. Honestly? Though I enjoyed it immensely, the movie was NOT that great. The creatures were delightfully scary to my hyperactive five year old's imagination, and....Joaquin *fangirl puddle* but so many things were sort of jarring that it just didn't *quite* work. Then we went back to Traci's house (Andy's fiance, and my close, darling friend, the woman whose bridesmaid I am going to be next month) and did Dance Dance Revolution and watched Signs. (DOUBLE DOSE OF JOAQUIN! CHEE!) I'd forgotten how much I enjoy that movie. I've seen it once already, and one or two parts still made me shriek. <3!

I dyed my hair today. It's a nummy dark golden-brown...again. Hey, screw you, I like being a brunette. (FYI? I really am a brunette, just my natural haircolor isn't quite as pretty. Hush, you.)

And...Kikujiro is a fucking HILARIOUS movie. I highly recommend it. Thanks again, Jo, for showing it to me. *Wibbles happily* and with that, I need to go call my dad to make sure he hasn't deposited the check I wrote him yet. O_O Or it will go bouncy bounce like a rubber ball. *SMOOCH*
