DA DOO RON RON RON!!
Gawd, I love fifties music so. It's so HAPPY. (well, usually. ^^)
SOOOOOOOOO. I have had a WONDERFUL past two days. Monday I walked all over up at Point Warden, collected lots of pretty little stones, took pictures of the ocean, and walked all through the state park. Then I walked downtown (oh man, was that ever a walk, it must've taken me two hours to get there from the lighthouse) and, because I found fifty bucks in the pocket of my work pants when I washed them Sunday night----which, as far as I am concerned, is FREE MONEY!! to Kat---I spent it. Hee. BAD Kat, but screw that noise, I've saved plenty for other crap. Mrah. I bought my first set of tarot cards (!) and this awesome CD called Cover the World. It's basically like old rock and pop songs covered by world music bands. Like...Ladysmith Black Mambazo does this Phil Collins song.... and there's this french salsa (yes, FRENCH) version of In the Summertime....and this reggae-ish version of Oh What a Night. It's SO KEWL.
And then yesterday. YESTERDAY, WAS SO MUCH FREAKING FUN. EEEEEEEEEEE!!! THE SQUEE!
I went to Seattle and got to meet Elijah mun, Jenny! Dood, it was hilarious. We could not have ASKED for nicer weather, not if we'd ordered it from a magazine, and taking the ferry was really cool (having never taken a ferry before.) I took loads of pictures, but they haven't been developed yet. We wandered around City Center, mostly, and we went to EMP (Experience Music Project---big, fascinating, interactive exhibit on the history of pop and rock music) and international foundtain and Pike's Street Market and Tower Records. But mostly what we did was talk and giggle and squeal. Basically...
Me + Jenny + Coffee + Easily distractable + OOOO SHINY = SQUEEEEE!
