La da da da da da....today is a good day to be a Kat. *bounces* For one, I don't have to work today! I must admit I will miss having a job where I don't have to go in to work on days it's raining. Actually, it's not even really raining, not yet. It's kind of barely sprinkling, but there's supposed to be showers all day and who wants to sit outside at a wet table? And...bees. SERIOUS bee problems at work.
Speaking of work, apparently I'm, like, everyone's favorite gal to hit on. *Facepalms* Last night it was only me and Lee working the dining room (we'd closed the deck because of aforementioned problem with bees) and pretty much the rest of the staff that had been there was in the bar, gettin' sloshed. And...everytime I would walk by the bar, I would get a CHORUS of "MEOW!'s" from them. AUGH! *dies laughing* What's REALLY funny is that the people doing it were ALL girls except for one of the cooks. And no, it wasn't THAT cook. They were just all drunk and stupid. *Facepalms* One of them was my lesbian boss, and my bisexual (sweet, adorable, wonderful) coworker Jenny. Oh, and my boss's girlfriend was sitting right there next to her, rolling her eyes at her girlfriend's stupidity. Hahahahah. I had a really hard time actually being annoyed, becuase they were just so DUMB and three sheets to the wind. It did get annoying when the guys at the bar started getting into the spirit. I guess that's what I get for wearing cute shirts and tight pants. Gawd...
SO!! TODAY WILL BE AN ADVENTURE. Guess what ship is in and around Port Townsend this weekend? THe Lady Washington! Right, I know that means nothing to you. The Lady Washington is this GORGEOUS double-masted square-rigged brig, 1800's style. They used it in The Pirates of the Caribbean; she was the Interceptor. SQUEE! And they take the public on rides. Guess what's on MY Agenda today. Mmm, I'm takin' my camera and everything. Also, there's a street fair going on uptown that I'm gonna hit. I'm trying to save money for my bridesmaid's dress and a nice gift for Traci and Andy when I get home, though, so no spendies the money!! Ack!
I also get to see Elijah-mun in Seattle before I leave. SQUEEEEEEEE!!!
