Lifestyles... of the Rich and the Famous
Oh, billy.
My feet hurt...(from last night, a lot of it) my head hurts.... my back hurts... and I have packing to do, so I can catch the bus tomorrow to OU to see Mary and Jo and Liz and Jess and Traci and Sam and Brittaney....but. I am quite happy at the moment. Later, hopefully some people will be online, and after I update this thing I'll do all my packing and getting ready for bed, etc.... and then I can sit on my bum and talk. :-D The Good Charlotte concert was very good. I think I had more of an orgasmic total experience at the Stone Temple Pilots concert last night, but it was definatley a lot of fun. They're a fun bunch of guys, really were very affectionate and talkative with the crowd. And this time I actually brought earplugs, so I didn't have another luvly case of hearing damage!! hee hee! I bought a CD at the concert, and I would've had the opportunity to get it signed if I had stuck around, but I was tired and achy and just wanted to go, as I knew there'd be a line. *shrugs* So I didn't.
Oh, they of course ended their encore with Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. :-D Yay!
Just one other thing I want to talk about... Mosh pit. I've been to at least 10 live concerts, and this was the first one that I actually moshed at, including the STP concert last night. (wasn't quite as closely packed, and we were towards the back of the pit. good for us!) And can we say? Ow. There's a reason my head hurts, and it's because people kept FALLING on it. I feel bad for my poor roommate Catherine, she got kicked in the face... has two very nice shiners developing. Ow! Still....I enjoyed moshing, while I was doing it. (I only stayed down there for half the first band (simple plan) all the second band (autopilot off) and none of the last band (good charlotte). It was really neat being part of this huge thing that writhed and twisted like an actual living thing.... I was so covered in sweat, though, when I got out of there! and I hurt. people kept slamming into me and smashing my feet (huge surprise, that IS what people do in mosh pits).
Tomorrow I plan to go to the bus station, buy the ticket there (I know it's available and that there's a bus coming back too) and head up to OU. I should get there around noon. I will also being arriving back here at noon on sunday as well. *snarfles* I need to make that CD tonight, so I can send it back to north carolina. :) *blink blink* okay, not making a whole helluva lotta sense, but allright...
Oh, and here's a picture of my psychotic friends: They went and played POOL in this outfit! the wierdos!! *laughs*
