Listens: "Sex-Type Thing" Stone Temple Pilots

i know you want what's on my mind...

Oh. My. God.

That? Was hot.

You can all feel free to boot me in the butt for ever even THINKING about not wanting to go to this concert tonight. Because it. Was. AMAZING!!!! *passes out* Scott Weiland is one of the HOTTEST men I have ever had the privelege to lay eyes upon. But I must start at the beginning....

To start out, as anybody who read my previous journal entry will note, I was off in la-la land today, and wasn't worth a Damn thing. I was all agitated when I headed off to the concert, partly because I thought I wouldn't be able to see worth crap. (Boy, was I wrong.) We (Brian, Nicole and I) parked in a lot that would've had to try real hard to be further away from Promowest Pavilion, the place where the concert was. Actually, as we discovered while we were waiting in line outside, there was a much quicker way to get to the performance area from the parking lot than the way we had come, and we felt quite stupid. We did take that way back when the concert was over, though.
Well, we got inside, after some slight problems with the tickets (they didn't have mine, or something, but I brought the receipt ticket master sent me, so they printed me out ones off the computer. thank goodness...) There was no actual seating; there was two areas: one area next to the bar, and then a sunken area right in front of the stage, kind of like a pit. The whole place was not very big at all. Maybe about the size of... uh.... well smaller than my high school gym, or at least not bigger than that. Does that help at all? Regardless, we were down in the pit area, and had an EXCELLENT view of the stage. :-D (or, at least, Brian and I did, as we're both over 6 feet tall. Poor short nicole had a bit of a harder time...) Then, we stood around and waited for.. oh.... TWO HOURS!! XD There wasn't even an opening band to stave off the boredom. My feet kill right now, by the way. Anybody wanna give me a foot massage? Please? oh come on, they don't stink THAT bad..... ;-)

Then, the concert started. And ladies? Hot DAMN!!! *drools all over the place* first of all, let me just say that I'm seriously deafer than I was. I could feel the base in my RIB CAGE!! and after I left, it felt like someone had stuffed cotton in my ears. erf. not good... but... AHHHHH IT WAS SO AMAZING OH MY FRIGGIN GOD!!!
The whole band was seriously hot, but Scott Wieland comes out in BLACK LEATHER PANTS!!! he had this burgundy shiny shirt on with a tie at first, but that so came off after like two songs, so HEE HEE HEE! ^^ *turns into liquid puddle of fangirly glee* and yes I shamelessly ripped off that phrase from the Very Secret Diaries. Guess what? I dun care. HEE!! He had this crazy black hair and sexy sexy sexy black eyeliner on, it made him look so crazy!! Actually.... he reminded me very much of David Bowie. Only hotter. uhhhhh *joygasms*

It was... there are no words to describe that concert. Group orgy comes to mind, but with amazing music. Really, really sexy music. Really really intense, sexy music. And then there's Scott Wieland (I know I must be spelling his name wrong, but who gives a damn?) up there, dry-humping the stage and all of his bandmates... he runs around all over the stage rubbing himself on various things and basically dancing like an insane sexual escapee from a model school or something. Ohhh, my god, I know I'm not making any sense, but it was SO FRIGGIN AWESOME!! *dies of joy* And he was SO charismatic.... he had this total control over the crowd. He could seriously have told us to rip our clothes off then and there and screw the person next to us, I seriously think we would have, we were all that enthralled. It was absolutely unbelievable....

They played Hollywood Bitch and Big Empty and a whole bunch of others whose names escape me at the moment, but I dun care... I loved it so much...
but!!! BUT!!!
The crowning glory to the whole evening was that he ended the encore with THE SEXIEST version of my favorite song by them.... SEX TYPE THING!! ohhhh god.... I about died.... it was seriously unreal. Like I had just woken up from the most amazing vivid dream of all time when the concert ended, and all of us dazed, amazed fools shuffled towards the door... ^^ (though part of that might've been that we couldn't hear a DAMN thing 'cept the ringing in our ears.) And then as we walked back to the car, we got a major case of the girly "oh my god!" giggles (well not brian, he just kind of laughed at us) which lasted till after we said goodbye at the dorm. I think I got a secondhand buzz because I had a serious case of the munchies.... I ate a cheeseburger and downed a biggie iced tea in seriously five minutes flat. We were so hungry...

and now I am just plain giddy, because that ROCKED. okay. enough babbling. you had to be there. ^^
