confessions of a teenage doofus
okay.... first I wanna clear one thing up.
those two posts below are summaries/retellings/synopsis of two short stories by ARTHUR C. CLARKE, from a compilation called "Dangerous Visions". I didn't mean to pirate it or claim credit for it in any way.... what happened was that my dad and I were driving to the air port in houston on sunday, and we were just talking about stuff, and he told me those two stories from what he could remember. And I couldn't stop thinking about them!! So I posted them. The plot is pretty much the same, from what I know, seeing as I've never actually READ the stories, but the line at the very end of each little thing is, as far as I can tell, pretty much verbatim. (My dad quoted them at me.) The phrasing, the syntax---all that is mine. But the events in the stories and the endings are pretty much the same.
SO SO SO SO SORRY!!! for any confusion!!! ^^;;;; It was TOTALLY unintentional and I didnt even THINK about credit or anything like that. I just wanted to share the stories with y'all.... ^^;;;;;
anyway.... much stuff has been going on... ^^ I will write a separate "Houston" report in a li'l bit, but just wanted to let yall know what was going on with me. ^^
Got back from Houston on Sunday evening, and I pretty much dicked around for most of that night. The next day we went out on got my car (!!!!!!*does the very extremely happy dance*) E-checked, and we still need to get its license plates updated, because they're expired. Then, Tuesday, michael (my older brother) and I went up to OSU for job interviews at the university bookstore. They hired us on the spot. SWEEEEEEEEET!!
So we went up for trainging today, but.... @_@ we fucked up and forgot to bring a birth certificate or our S.S. cards, as proof that we're legally allowed to work in the U.S. D'OH! So have job training tomorrow instead.
HEH HEH HEH!!! Last night me and all mah wimmin went to Joker's for LADIES' NIGHT!!!! *cackles evilly* Ah, it was fun.... there weren't that many people there O.o, a lot less than when we went for MY birhtday in April, so it wasn't quite as upbeat. But, on the other hand, the dancers paid us a LOT more attention!!! (yes, those would be mostly naked MALE dancers that I'm talking about. ) Whenever I get a scanner I am posting pictures!! LOL Man.... I have never seen leia look so SHOCKED!!! oh it cracked me up. I blew a ton of money, but it was more than worth it.... ^^ a couple of girls from work were there too, and it was just loads of fun. heh heh!
so, later today I have to go to walmart for varioius loads of crappola.... and there's much packing, etc. to be done, as I'm moving up to OSU this Friday/Saturday and all sorts of stuff needs to be taken care of before then .... @_@
anyway.... for now girls I gotta run!! ciao!
