I hate waiting for release dates!

Rawr. Waiting for manga release dates sucks ass. I have a shitload of reading I have to do for school, not to mention studying for my Human Variations makeup exam on Tuesday, but instead I choose to read and re-read my manga. Why? Cuz I'm an idiot. Plus lately I've only been in the mood for light reading. I just finished volume 6 of Death Note, but it's so hard to keep reading even though this manga is fantastic. It's just so...heavy. I have enough drama and crap going on in my life, that it's a relief to just sit down with an apple or cup of milk tea and read something cute and fluffy. Unfortunately, the latest volumes are taking forever! Fruits Basket volume 16 comes out in April, volume 6 of NANA (ok, it's not light and fluffy, but I <3 this series to death) doesn't come out til June, and Ouran Host Club volume 9 doesn't come out til July.

NANA's not that big a deal since I've read up til at least volume 16 or 17 online, but I just like owning the actual manga cuz it's a great series. As for Host Club, I already bitched about the scanslation thingy. Thing's are starting to get REALLY good, and I accidentally stumbled across some spoilers that make me want to keep on reading. Btw, Amber, you better be reading it! I'm not trying to overhype the series, but I know so few people who've read it that I need someone to fangirl with. That leaves me with Fruits Basket. This series just finished up in Japan and I actually dled all the scanslations. But for some reason, I just don't wanna read them. I kinda enjoy the anticipation of waiting to see what happens next. When I have the scanslations of something, I tend to just zip right through them. I'm super impatient when it comes to stuff like that, I just HAVE to know what happens next. But since I love this series so much, I guess I wanna be able to just slowly savor it. I first started reading Host Club through scanslations, so that's why I have no problem reading it that way, and NANA takes for-freakin-ever to come out, so I gots ta read it that way. But Fruits Basket was the first manga I ever bought (it was only $5 at Hot Topic and I heard good things about it, so I picked it up) and decided to collect, so I guess I just want to keep it up that way. Heh, I'm such a loser. ^^;;
