t3h meetup!
Well, I figure sooner or later everyone will be posting about the meetup today, so wth, join the crowd.
Well, as luck would have it, poor Dig had his car towed Friday nite so he wouldn't be able to give me a ride since he'd be arriving really late. So I had Mark/Oreo pick me up, along with Ian/Rinkin and Newski/Mr. Invader. Now anyone who knows them, knows they run on Filipino time. So yeah...was supposed to get picked up around 10:30, got picked up at noon instead. Yay. Anyhoo, driving with Mark is always an interesting experience as he's infamous for his crazy driving, and when you put those 3 together, it's usually non-stop laughs. We managed to get to Mitsuwa alive, always a plus. There was a LOT more people at the meetup than I thought there would be, but no Wolverine33 who was my secret santa buddy, so yay, I get to keep the Best Buy giftcard! Mmm...iPod case for Mia!
Hung around Mitsuwa for awhile, then hit up J-toys where Amber actually made herself useful! Jumi's friend Jen had an asthma attack, but luckily Amber had the right kind of inhaler with her and helped her out. I'm glad she was ok, cuz that could've turned really scary REALLY fast. We took awesome sticky pictures in the COOLEST sticky picture booth I've ever seen. Thanks to Jumi (who actually knew what she was doing), our pix came out all purty and stuff. I took one set with Jumi, Shy, and Ris, and another with Suki, Amber, Aina, and Nick.
Next came Woodfield and Gameworks, but on the drive there, Mark kept thinking that all the cars were "challenging" him, so yeah...that was fun. >_> I got the Baby Phat shirt w/ matching thong I'd been wanting forever, but Idk if it's flattering on me. It doesn't cling to my curves, just kinda falls straight. Plus it seems to be one of those shirts for skinny, flat chested chicks. But it's soooo purty! I had been wanting it FOREVER! And it was half off! *tear* Well, I'll hold onto it just a BIT longer and see, but I'll probably have to return it. *sigh*
Then came Denny's where we were way too loud and disrupting all the other diners, which I felt really bad about. But I was also upset cuz we got shitty service at the table I was at. I never even got any refills cuz the waitress never came by. I had to steal some of Shaun's when he wasn't paying attention. >_> Oh btw, Naruto is AWESOME! I've never watched One Piece so I won't be biased, but Naruto=awesome, Ninjas=awesome, Pirates=t3h suck. :p And yeah...Beth's boobs got PWN3D! Damn that's an awesome stamper I gave Dig. Makes me wish I had gotten one for myself. :(
Ooh, I got awesome stuff from people! Jooms made me the cutest jewelry box thing with Kirara ears and tails, and a spike bracelet inside, plus some damn good brownies! She worries that she overcooked em, but me and my brothers luv em. Kei gave me Wayne's World 1&2 (Wayne's World being one of my fave movies, and Jeannie had lost my DVD of it) and a cute mini-drawing, Vivi gave me the Samurai X DVDs I've been wanting forever, Suki was my SS and she gave me candy (mmm...pixie stix. I shared with Ris and Shy), Amber gave me a Hot Topic giftcard (which I had Vivi use to get my bondage bunny armwarmers online) and a keychain that says "I only seem sweet and innocent" (ha ha, we all know that I really AM sweet and innocent. *halo*), and Mark gave me Zebra Cakes (inside joke) and, while cleaning out his car, a Cupid bow and arrow set. Hm...I think that's it. If there's anyone I forgot, I'm sorry. But yeah, thank you everyone! I luv all of it! <3
