Multi-Step Email Sequences That Continue in the Same Thread
Details: Users doing candidate outreach or relationship-based follow-ups would benefit from the ability to send multi-step email sequences that automatically continue within the same email thread. Currently, outreach workflows require manually drafting follow-ups, which adds friction and makes it harder to maintain consistent outreach. Requested functionality: Create multi-step email sequences (e.g., initial email + follow-ups) Automatically send follow-ups within the same thread rather than starting new ones Allow configurable timing between messages (e.g., 3 days, 7 days) Option to stop the sequence if the recipient replies Value: Ideal for recruiting and candidate outreach workflows Keeps conversations organized within one thread Saves time while maintaining personalized communication Makes Dex more useful for structured outreach without becoming a full sales automation tool

Multiple Profile Pics
If i have a person synced across different social media networks, i should be able to choose the photo that i want to have as the main profile picture. but also see the others. With iphones allowing wallpaper photos and profile photos. I’d like to keep them without them getting replaced by an old linkedin headshot.

Deeper Network Intelligence in Dex Copilot (Connection Mapping & Intro Signals)
Some users comparing Dex to tools like Happenstance have noted that while Dex Copilot excels at relationship context (briefs, reminders, tagging), it feels lighter on network intelligence and connection mapping. Requested enhancements include: Stronger “who knows whom” signals across the network Smarter intro suggestions based on shared connections More aggressive enrichment of contact relationships Context mining across notes, interactions, and shared networks Opportunity surfacing (e.g., potential warm paths to a target) The goal would not be to turn Dex into a sales CRM, but to strengthen its ability to surface meaningful relationship pathways within a user’s existing network. Value: Makes Dex more strategically actionable Improves introduction workflows Enhances Copilot’s intelligence beyond reminders Helps users extract more value from their network graph

Batch Business Card Scanning + Post-Conference Workflow Mode
Details: The typical business card workflow happens after a conference or event, when users return home with a stack of cards and need to upload many in one session. Currently, the flow requires manually navigating back to the scan function after each card, which slows down batch processing. Requested improvements: Continuous / Batch Scan Mode Automatically prompt to scan the next card after finishing one Allow rapid back-to-back uploads without re-entering the feature Optional “Done” button to exit batch mode Quick Context Note for All Scanned Cards Add a shared note during batch upload (e.g., “Met at SaaStr 2026”) Option to apply the same tag, group, or event label to all cards in that session Reduce repetitive manual note entry Value: Matches real-world conference behavior Dramatically speeds up post-event cleanup Preserves valuable context while it’s still fresh Makes Dex feel purpose-built for networking events

Improve Conversion via Referral Links
When someone lands on a referral link they are sent, it give no information on what the product is just the option to sign up. You need to enhance the product education on the url link page so that you help with conversion. When people get there they have 2 options (sign up without knowing much of the product) or leaving. It’s effectively a blank screen telling the referred customer nothing about Dex. Look at your metrics I’m sure the drop off is very high. https://getdex.com/invite/r/ljcSmBKAINX81VPCIaJiMTJaPsZ2

Customize Daily Digest Text (Include Anniversaries & Workiversaries)
Details: The daily birthday text notification is extremely helpful. However, users would like more control over what is included in that daily digest. Specifically, the ability to: Include anniversaries Include workiversaries Select which event types trigger the morning text Customize delivery timing (optional) Choose preferred delivery channel (SMS, email, push) Right now, the birthday text is valuable, but it only covers one type of milestone. Expanding this into a customizable “Daily Relationship Briefing” would make it significantly more powerful and prevent missed important dates. Value: Improves proactive relationship management Reduces reliance on manual calendar tracking Makes the morning digest more comprehensive and actionable

Auto-Tag New Contacts from Specific Inbox (Rule-Based Tagging)
Details: Currently, when new contacts are ingested from a connected inbox, they must be manually tagged one-by-one if the user wants them categorized (e.g., by source, workflow, or relationship type). For users who are constantly making new connections at work, manual tagging creates unnecessary friction. Requested improvement: Allow users to define a rule such as: “All new contacts from this inbox → auto-apply Tag X” Support one-time tagging for first-time imports Optionally allow multiple tag rules per inbox Value: Eliminates repetitive manual tagging Keeps contact organization scalable Supports high-volume networking workflows

Map (Group/Tag/Title) Filters / Search by Map
Hello, the map feature is wonderful - the location on profiles doesn’t tell me much, most people seem to leave it blank or it is defaulted to something like USA But the map - far more useful to know who is local (city or even just country) Would be wonderful if it could be searchable, so I could search CEO and see who is a CEO in my area. Hopefully you can do this one day

Interactions Counting/Analytics
Can we add a feature of counting the number of interactions with a group of people? For example, I want to count how many coffee chats I had with Tesla in the past 3 months ○ Time: Total number of interactions per week, month, quarter○ Filter: Dex tag, Dex group, company/organization○ Interaction type: coffee, meeting, note○ Chart types: line chart and bar chart Current limitation: When I export notes/events as csv, the file doesn't have filters of tag or group for me to create a chart

Allow Users to Customize Pre-Meeting Brief Delivery Time
Details: Pre-meeting briefs are currently sent at a fixed time before meetings, and users cannot adjust when they’re delivered. In some cases, users have also experienced briefs arriving after a meeting has already started, which defeats the purpose of preparation. Requested improvements: Allow users to configure how many minutes before a meeting they receive the pre-meeting brief (e.g., 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes) Ensure briefs are reliably delivered before the meeting start time Optionally allow different defaults per user or meeting type

(API) Retrieve Contacts based on creation or update date
Currently there doesn't appear to be a way to retrieve contacts based on recent changes. One can implement this offline by caching the entire contact list and doing a diff, but that puts unnecessary load on the API server and isn't particular efficient. To address this, it would be create if we could pass in a creation or update date alog with the retrieval API call, and only get back those that match (if any).

“hooks” > auto-generated outreach copy
Summary: Provide user-controlled “hooks” and/or guided prompt input instead of fully auto-generated outreach copy. Problem / User Feedback Users perceive the current auto-generated outreach message suggestions as overly familiar and uncomfortable—especially for long-dormant relationships (e.g., no interaction in 25 years). Proposed Solution Add one (or both) of the following options in the reconnect flow: 1. Selectable hooks list• Show a short list of suggested conversation hooks as checkboxes (e.g., shared context, mutual connections, last known location/company, general “catch up” prompt).• User selects which hooks to include (or none).2. User prompt textbox• Provide a short input field: “What do you want to say / what’s the intent?”• AI generates a message only based on explicit user intent and selected hooks.
