February Rain
I loathe February rain. Absolutely detest it. Hate, hate hate. It's one of the most annoying sorts of rain possible. Of course, you get the type that is a kind of spray / spit that can't quite make up its mind about whether it's going to rain properly or not, and the type that involves lots of wind and attacking you from side on. But February rain is particulary annoying.
Dull, flat skies that look just like any other overcast day, no interesting banks of clouds or hints of blue sky peeking through. The rain drops are fat and lazy, as if they're a half hearted effort at raining, almost more like randomly leaking clouds rather than proper raindrops. They don't have the refreshing, cleansing atmosphere of April showers, and aren't anywhere as impressive as an August thunderstorm. The dampness it leaves lasts for days afterwards and the grey soup above refuses to disperse.
