so it's a little bit scary when one of your best friends almost dies and you don't understand the severity of it until she calls you from her ( now private ) hospital room four days later, and she's still crying at the drop of a hat. it's just kind of eye-opening, i suppose. and terrifying.
and yesterday some guy tried to hit on me in a chinese restaurant. he was successful in pestering the shit out of me, and i didn't think fast enough to give him a wrong number, so now he's got my cell phone number. i won't be answering my phone for any numbers that don't show up with an already-entered name, to say the least. he's, like, thirty years old, which isn't old to say the least, but old to be picking up girls whom he knows are in high school. he knows i'm 17.
also, i've got some sort of diease ( that's highly common, i'm told ) called polycystic ovary syndrome which, if not treated, will gain me diabetes by the time i'm 25, and a likely chance of infertility. so i'm definitely taking the pills they're giving me.
plus -- i got a detention, evidently, that nobody ever told me about. it was scheduled for the 12th. they sent the notification in the mail, and it only arrived, you know, on the 12th. so now i'll have to serve another detention for missing detention.
mmm. winter is setting in, and it's just the right temperature at night for snuggles and hot chocolate, down comforters and skimpy nightclothes.
