Why is it kind of discomforting when you see a sign for the restaurant's special and it says in big, huge, block letters: "Syrup and Mush"? Um, does that squick anyone else? Anyone?

Plus- it didn't help that the woman I was sitting behind/in front of/whatever (we were in a booth, her back was to mine) had hair the size of Texas.
