Whoo, update.
ATTENTION: ONLY ONE OF YOU CAN DO THIS! ONE, I SAY! So, whoever comments on it first gets it.
Explanation
SO, it's like this: you know those games we played when we actually still had Recess? (Meh, miss Recess, except, not in the snow...) Specifically that game where one person says a word, and then the person next to them adds a word, and then the next person, and then so on? So that in the end, it becomes one big long sentence (or in this case, one long story)? Yes, that one. Am adapting this to LJ, so it'll be kind of different. Hmm -- RULES:
1. Copy the Explanation, the Rules, the List, and the Meme itself into your LJ.
-- For the sake of consistancy, only ONE person can take this meme from an LJ that has this posted.
-- Add your LJ Username to The List below (so that we can keep track of who takes the meme).
-- Leave a comment on the LJ you're taking this meme from (it's common courtesy).
-- You can only do this meme ONCE, just so that this meme can keep going to different LJs.
-- Of course, this meme can be started by anybody, which is why I named this The Onychophagiac Meme. It's so that on the off chance somebody wants to start a different story, they may do so.
2. In this meme, add TWO words. I just feel like being different.
-- In addition, you may add punctuation to the end of the previous person's words to have it make more sense -- but NOT after. This is only because adding punctuation to the end of your own word, will most definitely influence the next word that is added. (That was totally a run-on. Hope it still made sense, b/c am too lazy to go back and change it :D)
-- The story can be about anything, not just the HP fandom. Although, it is preferable that the content be something most everyone would read. Remember that other people may be reading this, and if somebody gets offended (by, let's say obscenity), well, my username is all over this thing isn't it? I wouldn't expect this to be the case, but I have no idea where this will go, and for muffin's sake it's the Internet! Basically, keep language and graphic content to a minumum. :)
3. The End Date: May 24, 2004, 06:00 PM EST. That should be enough time.
--> If you are the last person to gack this meme and it is the End Date, send the resulting story (assuming this actually went somewhere) back to me (
4. If anybody really cares that much (you won't, or you will forget), I'll have the End Story (assuming this gets sent back to me) posted on May 25, 2004 so that anybody who participated in this meme can see how the story turned out.
5. There does not have to be an ending to the story.
6. Dude. That was long and involved planning. Yes indeedy.
7. Onwards! And just have fun! I'm only doing this b/c I've always wanted to track a meme, it's the geeky side coming out. :©≠
