So I have a debate to settle with myself, and I need some help from you guys. I've been listening to Chocolate by Snow Patrol on repeat a lot lately because it's such a lovely song. The thing is, though -- I am unclear about some of the lyrics in the second verse. I would bet my life that the words are "but in truth I'm launched forwards," but every website I've looked at says that the words are "but in truth I'm lost for words." Usually I'll trust the websites, but I can't not hear the ch sound when he sings. What do you guys think? (Even if you've never heard of the song or the band, maybe you could download it and help me out?)

goodness knows i saw it coming, or at least i'll claim i did...

NEVERMIND. The live/acoustic version helps. It is "lost for words." Perhaps there was a different version floating about and he sang that instead. I still maintain that there is a hard ch sound. The album version is "launched forwards." Two versions? As avoteforla says, "why not?"
