Fandoms : Harry Potter, American Idol (Clay Aiken, Clay/Ryan, etc.), Pirates of the Carribean, Invader ZIM, various anime and American cartoons (especially Nicktoons), general slash/yaoi
How Psycho Mighty Are You? : Talked my family into going to a "Potter Party" for the "Order of the Phoenix" release, despite having pre-ordered the book on-line -- and gotten it 3 days early. On that note, not CRACKING the book until midnight on the 21st out of respect for JK Rowling (mum said I was an idiot... she was about a hundred pages into it by the time I got to it). Wrote three research papers on fandom/fandom culture (one about anime/yaoi, one about The Simpsons, and one about blogging). Would call home if I was out during the AI results show just to check and see if Clay was still safe.
Deep Dark Fangirl Secret : Hmm... maybe it's more telling that I have no secrets? Everything I have done in the name of fandom, I have done with great pride :)
Glad to be in the midst of like-minded ladies.
