*yawns*
So yeah, been looking after the children today :) All is well thus far.
We went to Macca's this arvo for lunch, but we had to walk there and back in 31C heat *pouts*. One of my sisters is uber energetic all the time, so she was scampering along like a seven year old loon (which she is) and the heat didn't really seem to bother her. Her sister (11) and I, however, didn't find the going so easy.....But, we did make it to Mickey D's and we got a big slurpee for the way home. Needless to say, betwixt us three, is didn't make it all the way home, lol.
I am the one who squeezes into tight spaces, the hider from children and the winner of Buckaroo. Yes, I am god.
OK, maybe not quite god, but I'm still pretty darn cool.
My back is acheing from the bed I slept in last night. It's normally my brother's bed for when he's here (it's the top bunk) and the foam matress is all mooshed out of shape. And I slept under this pink, frilly doona. I felt like such a sissy, lol.
I are tired *pouts*, but no matter. I believe I shall be returning to my primary domicile at about 7pm or so, and then, so it seems, I am going to the Workers tonight to have a drink with Dr. K and Liiiiiiiiiisa, lol. I think it'll be an OK way for me to make up for not being able to go out today.
Work tomorrow (hurrah).
And on Sunday...Y'all are going to think me more of a Melvin/Nerdlinger, lol....I'm going to see Human Nature!!! Keep in mind that I didn't buy the tickets or anything like that. Going ith family doesn't necessarily elevate the fun level, but meh, lol, no matter. A night out is a night out. Or afternoon, rather.
So yeah, I think that's about it for me for today. I may be off to perhaps play Adventure Quest. 'Cos I'm bored......And a nerd.
