Aww...October.

Can't believe it's October already. Where has the year gone????

Went to the party on Saturday night. I got pretty fucking wasted. Was great, though. Chilled, drank, had to see Dr.K be all smoochy with Cain (he he he he he), talked to a billion different people and made friends with my former nemesis. OK, just a guy I had differences with, lol. And had some green in between ;-).

Woke up on Sunday morning, hungover to the shithouse (again!!). I've decided that the best cure for a hangover is toast, tea and loud, loud music :-D Went to the album launch of a family friend's county/rock band, Simply Bushed. Now, I'm not normally into this music, but I really love the way they do it...No warbling about Texas, no sobbing over lost loves....Singing about this great red land and all it's glories :-) They also covered Waltzing Matilda (a fave) and We are Australian (which made me cry a little, as always). A fave though, is a song they do about Ned Kelly, lol, it's really good. Anyow, I gots me a signed album (and I've got the last one too).....More importantly, everyone keep a lookout for Simply Bushed on the radio. They're releasing their first commercial song this month.

So yeah :-) We got a new letterbox this morning, lol....At least our mail will be dry. And sadly, I think that's all that's happening today. Poo.
