Rosie says....
I was reading an article in the Good Weekend (a section in the Aussie paper) and it turned out to be a feature article on Rosie O'Donnell, everyone's fave lizzie ;-). She (and secretly, Melissa Etheridge) has been a queer mentor for me, especially while I was growing up, and it was awesome to read about her and a little of her life and what she stands for. Rosie's main aim was have a talkshow for 5 years (turned out to be 6) and retire with her family. Another of her aims was to reach 40 (her mother died at 39 of breast cancer, like my mum's mum). She's a fabulous woman with a great partner and gorgeous kids :-) She's what I aspire to be when/if I grow up.
Had the best night's sleep in ages. Lost my paci about a billion times, but no worries. Woke up, found it and popped it back into my maw and snoozled off to sleep, teddy bear in paw, of course :-) Sadly I couldn't have a kiddy breakfast (peanut butter toast in little triangles and apple juice) because I had to grow up for a few hours and go to work. Hurrah.
Can't cub tonight *pouts*, going to the father's this weekend for my brother's b'day. Can't wait to see all my little sisters, not that they're that little now....But they'll always be little to me....Mushy. Also, I think my Grandmother will be there for lunch tomorrow, so we'll see how it all goes. I'll let you know later.
Still "working". Bored. TBN's server must be down. Damn site. Got about 3 hours to go, then I gotta pack my bag for the weekend. Just finished writing the list of stuff to take. I hate forgetting things. Makes me feel stupid. so freaking bored. *sighs*.
Gawd. I've run out of things to talk about already. How sad. At least this entry is longer than a lot of my past ones....I guess reading Rosie's article gave me a bit to write about. Off now, to see if TBN is up. Ciao xoxoxox
