Howdy, Cowpokes!!

Just got back from work...How very exciting.

What else? Actually, it's all been fairly straight forward lately...I know, boring, huh?

I've got my soccer presentation tonight (can't wait to see Paulie, Nic, Zibbo and Rosie again!!!!) and a family lunch to celebrate the arrival of my mother's step-sister's new son, Angus Ian Darcy MacMillain (sp? I should know how to spell their last name!!!) I haven't seen him yet, so I'm kinda stoked.

It's nearly Halloween!!!! I wish it was celebrated in Australia as much as it it in the U.S....Such a kickass holiday...So full of mystery and fun....And sugar!!!

Apparently All Hallow's Eve (or, Halloween!) is the time where the veils between the worlds of life and death are at their thinnest, so people from both sides can accidently...and on purpose...drift across to the other side. So, considering the ease of spiritual travel at this time of year, it's not unusual that people get to hear from (or even encounter) relatives/friends/lovers who've died.

I always feel that at this point of the year, something should be done...A small ritual or prayer in the honour of your loved ones...Like in Mexico where they celebrate Los Dias De Los Muertes (the day of the dead)...People go to cemetaries where they're rellies are buried and they thank them for their life and offer them favourite flowers and/or food what not...Also they get dressed up in costumes and have a parade to celebrate the life of their loved ones and actually have a pretty good time about it. It's supposed to be quite cheery, lol. I hate it when people treat death as a taboo and morbid thing to talk about....

So yeah....Meh. Lol...I don't really have anything much to talk about....so...BYE!! XOXOX
