motherfucking ipod shuffle!!!!! piece of crap!!!!
*Composes self* Ahem!....My day has been filled with hours of wrestling with that motherfucking, new fangled contraption...Bloody thing! Yargh!!!!! I wanna kill it. It seems that the software for it doesn't recognise the iPod unit...Which shits me, 'cos I spent 2 hours loading all these songs onto the computer, foolishly thinking that it would be no problem to get them onto the shuffle, but NO!...My life had to be made difficult by a stupid 2.5" long piece of plastic....At least I have some really cool songs to listen to on the computer.
The song I'm in love with right now is a cover of the Tim/Neil Finn song "into temptation" by Renee Geyer. I'd never heard of her before, but she's an Aussie from Marcia Hines' generation. Anyhow, she has this really orgasmic, seductive, smoky/husky sounding voice and I think I'm completely in love, lol. Weird, right? I swear the first time I heard it (lol, last night) I was completely gobsmacked. I just sat there in total silence...It just gives this amazing imagery of what it's like to be involved in a forbidden love...."I'm safe in the wide open arms of hell"...Dark, but really, really sexy, lol. It's on a CD called "She will have her way: The songs of Tim and Neil Finn".
Went to my m/unit's for dinner. Pretty good. Hung out with the youngest for a while and helped her with her homework. I can't wait to do that with my own kids...Lol, tragic. Then hung with the oldest of the two for a while and we talked about school (she's in year 5) and she asked questions about highschool and what not. I wonder what she'll be like when she's older.
ROFL!!! Went out with my family and my aunt and cuz and we went to a mall for a bit of shopping (I didn't buy anything) and dinner. So, while we were eating, I wiped mayo on my brother's cheek, so he (as he does) threw a pickle at me. I slapped it ack and it landed on his shirt. He did it again and again, it landed on his shirt. He did it a third time and I slapped it away and the pickle went over his soulder onto the sleeve of some guy sitting behind him. Anyhow, the dude didn't notice and neither did his wife, so we had a bit of a laugh and watched as they got up to leave....They still didn't see the pickle on his sleeve. I wonder how long it took him to notice?!
What else? I've got a date to fill on monday/tuesday!! Lol...Red's gonna pick me up after work and I'm sleeping with her (he he) at her nan's. Then we're gonna hang out on the tuesday :) I dunno if I'm making too much out of this...She seems to really like me....She talks about kissing me a lot (I can't wait) ....(Anyone who knows who I'm talking about, I'd really appreciate it if you'd not say anything to anyone). So yeah. I've spoken to her a lot in the last week or so up until the weeeeee hours or the morning...We've got some sort of chemistry going on and what's even better is that I'm perfectly happy to just be her friend if that's all it comes to (not that I'm not saying a relationship and sex ;) wouldn't be nice!!).
As for she-who-must-not-be-named (the x) hasn't called/messaged/emailed/written in about two months or so...I'm seriously beginning to doubt that she'll be coming to the formal (not that I give a shit!!) 'cos of stuff between us and also Red. She's also going around spreading untruths about Red and I to people just to make my life difficult...Goodo. It shits me that she wanted so badly to be friends, but she can't respect me enough to get on with it...A jealous friend is not an honest friend and a dishonest friend is no friend of mine. Besides, I have plenty of friends as it is :) Aren't I lucky??!!
