Really a true story...And it's a good/bad one.

OK, poppets, I heard a story today at soccer (though I didn't play) and needed to relay it...It's not my story, but seriously, it's fucking hilarious...And kind of really not.

OK, so Nicky was telling me about this friend of a friend of hers (always the way) who has an eighteen year old son who is mentally disabled. Don't laugh there, you animals. This guy's favourite thing to do is to take injured animals home and nurse them back to health, but he's been known to just adopt animals and bring them home as pets. I think that's enough backstory, eh?

So, this one day this guy called his mum to tell her that he'd caught a gremlin and he wanted to know if he could keep it. Naturally, she said, "what are you talking about? A gremlin?" He tells her, "yes, a gremlin and can I keep it?!" She's thinking that he's found a possum or something equally wild so she tells him that they'll discuss it when she gets home. As you do.

She gets home some time later and her son comes racing up to her with these scratches on his arms and he's super excited, "mum, I caught a gremlin, but I think we should feed it because it's angry". He leads her out to the back shed where the 'gremlin' is and they go inside...

Where there, cowering in a corner, is a midget.
