It's a Christmas Pudding. Oh yeah.
OK, so since
storyfan wanted to see our Christmassy (or holiday-y) decorations, I decided to post a photo that fully articulates the person that I am.
Now, a little background. Naturally everyone is familiar with Christmas hats, they're usually Santa hats or something equally so-so (no offence to people who have a preference for Santa hats, I used to have one as a kid and I loved it). But, in our family Chrissie hats are not faced with tradition or limitation. For example, my mother had - for a few years, actually - a pair of tinselly, gold lame (there should be a little accenty thing there) reindeer antlers. Says it all.
But not I. No. My Christmas hat has been the same for at least the last three years because I am yet to find something that can come anywhere near it. It is the holy grail of Christmas hats. It is the reason that Christmas has the ability (not right now, though) to bring my any semblance of joy.

Yes, the Merry Christmas is backwards, but don't let that hold you up.
Also, not a flattering pic.
I'd have posted photos of our tree and its decorations, as well as the lights on the front of our house, but I didn't. Not because I didn't want to, but because I didn't take photos and now can't be arsed.
But as a treat, I'll take my camera to my dad's tomorrow and show you all what he's got going on. It's four metres tall and rhymes with Manta Paws.
P.S. I'd put it behind a cut, but cuts aren't working for me right now. Bally things.
