So, it's Christmas Eve Eve (yeah, work it out, all) and it is really freakin' hot!!!! The weather people said that it'd be tops of 29 degrees in the city and I could bet on the live of a meteorologist that it was easily in the thirties. Easily.
It's hot, I'm tired and I'm not entirely in the Christmas spirit (but I'm sure I will be tomorrow) and so, to alleviate my holiday woes, I bring you a pointless, but Christmassy, meme from
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
I'm generally a wrapping paper person, though this year my dad's present is in a bag because, well, how do you wrap a camera strap? Anyway, I'm not bignoting myself - my wrapping paper is usually newspaper.
2. Real tree or artificial?
Fake. Incidentally, real trees aren't that common here in Aus (not that they're not available). We had a real one once and my God, the freaking needles!!!!! I'm sorry, but the nice piney scent is not worth the clean up.
3. When do you put up the tree?
I think ours went up last week. Last year it didn't go up until Christmas Eve, lol.
4. When do you take the tree down?
January 6th. It's always been thus. Why? No idea.
5. Do you like eggnog?
Never had it, but it sounds gross. Also not common in Australia, incidentally. Something about mixing eggs and summer heat just doesn't go down well.
6. Favourite gift received as a child?
Anything that came in a huge box. Anytime there was a bike, that was always cool, or some kind of awesome book.
7. Hardest person to buy for?

No. We're not those people.

12. Favourite Christmas Movie?
The Grinch. Says volumes.
13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?

No.

Chicken schnitzel...Sauerkraut...Dumplings...KFC (don't laugh!)
16. Lights on the tree?
Der. Otherwise it's just a tree.
17. Favourite Christmas song?
I don't like carols, lol...Except for O Tannen Baum.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
A complex travelling between the homes of my parents. It's not always easy.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's?
Yes. Donner and Blitzen, Dancer and Prancer, Cupid and Vixen, Dasher...And the other guy. Rudolph.

Star. Some hideous plastic red thing that I adore.
