Man, I have not posted anything of worth in forever - or so it seems - and I can't really use the excuse "life has gotten in the way", because I'm really not doing anything, lol. How sad. I shall promise to be better from now on.
You know, I'm at 991 (now 992, I guess) LJ entries...I think I started this thing back in 2004 or '05. That's a long time, but it doesn't seem like anywhere near enough entries...I guess that's because sometimes life actually does get in the way, heh.
Anyway, not that it's thrilling news, I have very nearly finished my Christmas shopping. Already. Stoked about that, actually (which is a little sad, but I need to get my kicks where I can). I just have to get something for my two half-sisters, though I don't know if I'll see them this year because their situation (See: Their mother) is a little fucked up at the moment, and for my mum (but I know what I'm getting her), and then I have to finish up my brother's present and I'm done!!!
Funny thing happened regarding Ben's present, actually. A few weeks back - super early for Chrissie shopping - I bought a Lonely Planet Czech phrase book for him because he wants to learn to speak Czech better ( we both would, actually), although he has his yeses and nos down pat...And his whos and whats, lol...And another expression which means something like "For pete's sake", but translates literally to "hedgehog's eyesight". I wish I could spell it. Anyway - so off track - I bought that and then promptly misplaced it...Such is my luck...And so I had to order another copy which came in on Friday...Now, I will bet you quids that I will, very shortly, I've no doubt, find that first book. And it will fucking kill me, too, because I looked all over the place for the bally thing.
Geez, that was a lot of words to say something that small.
Anywho, shopping almost finished. Bought myself HP HBP game for my PSP (which I haven't played in forever, so it's almost a waste, lol) today, and bought myself some DVDs for Christmas yesterday...Stephen Fry In America, Sweeney Todd and The Wizard Of Oz...And I can't wait, lol. I mean, I could just have them now, but I'm going to be completely lame and put them under the tree to me from Santa.
I'm always very serious when I tell people I have absolutely no intention of growing up any time soon.
