Writer's Block: Famous last words
If you were close to death, what would you choose for your last words? To whom would you want to say them?
So long...And thanks....For all....The...Fish.....*gasp*
OK, so maybe not. I kind of always wondered what it would be like...Those last few moments, like, what happens to you, mentally and physically...Is it just like falling asleep? Or do you know - and you probably do - that this is the very end? I wonder if it hurts...Mind, falling asleep doesn't hurt, so I don't think that dying would...But then again, I don't know anything about it. No one does. And that irritates me.
I mean, how is there something - a common experience, no less - that all these people, all of us, know absolutely nothing about? No one knows. You're here one minute, then this process takes place and you're not here anymore.
We know nothing about death (hell, we know nothing about life!), never mind what happens next.
