Fresh meat!!

        
 
It didn't take as long as we were expecting, so that was kind of nice. Rather grateful, actually. 

With other tattoos I've gotten, part way through I could recognise a bit of a pattern and preempt the pain a bit or focus on something else, but this was unreal, lol. I was present and aware the whole time and I couldn't really guess what the needle's next move was. It was mostly painful with a few very painful bits, lol. Seriously, the lines of the banner at the bottom deadset sucked the breath right out of me. Ow. 

I'm going back in a month to get the shading and colour done, as well as text in the banner to turn it into a full piece. I'm rather excited about the whole thing.

As for now, I'm going to go and drink some coke and read a trashy magazine. Wholesome, I know, but my gods, I'm tired.
