Off and away

 
One ack emma, so if this is a mite convoluted, that's why. Oh, and I've just spent the last five hours playing The Sims. Guh.

The birthday wasn't too bad, I mean, aside from being woken up at 6:30 in the morning. I got The Sims 3, a gift voucher for a favourite shop of mine and, the thing of all things, a Tiffany & Co. money clip. With my initials engraved on it. Aren't mothers just the best?

I have my clothes and stuff packed for tomorrow (so happy not to be going to work) and will pack up my tech bag when I log off. My mum was laughing about this before, "Since when do you have a tech bag?!"...Mac, iPod, digicam...As well as other inflight things - book (currently Beloved by Toni Morrison) and my notebook and pen. All important. Yeah, it's an hour flight and we're only away for a few days, but this tech stuff is important (ask Stephen, lol).

I'm going to be at the airport in about eight hours and in Melbourne in a little less than ten. Not long now. All it has to do is A) not be freakishly cold, and B) please, for the sweet love of God, not rain.
