I dare you to use this word in a sentence...
The time is 2:45am and I ought to be asleep. But I'm not.
I have discovered a new word:
Quaquaversal (no, I'm not making it up).
It is of Latin origin from the word "quisquis" which means 'whoever, whatever, whatsoever, anything at all' (terribly helpful).
It means "turned in whatever way" or "pointing in all directions".
In Geological terms, it means "dipping in all directions", for example, lava beds formed from the central crater of a dome-shaped volcano.
So there you are. Lesson the first: I get weirder the later it gets.
I have also learned, today, that "fargling" is a word that is nowhere near as dirty as it sounds. No, fargling is the alternate name for the rather common (or at least common in my house) practice of playing Scissors, Paper, Rock. Who knew?
You can thank Mr. Fry and the QI team for that one.
Alright, I'm going to stop wasting your time and start making some steps toward putting myself to bed (I nearly said "to sleep", lol)...Not that I have anything to do tomorrow...Hm.
Wiedersehen.
