Been relatively cheery all day and now, for some inexplicable reason, I'm all in a mood. No particular reason, I think, except that I can't write and I can't sleep properly. And I'm annoyed with how my hair is growing in - I know it's an odd thing to be irritated by, but there you are. I've been stalking around for the past few days with - no doubt - something interesting to write/say, but it won't come out for some reason and now it's just giving me the shits.

Went onto amazon.com today and ordered some books, which I'm most excited about. I couldn't help myself, I went a little overboard. I mean, I need new books to read (irrespective of the fact that I have a few I haven't read yet). Anyway, I got:
  • Moab Is My Washpot by Stephen Fry
  • The Liar also by Mr. Fry (told you, Fry on the brain)
  • The Gun Seller by Mr. Laurie (I've wanted a copy of it since I first found out he's written it)
  • Reading Like A Writer by Francine Prose
  • What Jane Austen Ate and Charles Dickens Knew: The Facts of Daily Life in 19th Century England by Daniel Pool
  • Shakespeare: The Bard's Guide to Abuses and Affronts
Definately going to have to find a book storage solution soon.

Watching Peter's Friends on YouTube. It's a movie directed by Kenneth Branagh and it features almost the full Cambridge Footlights cast i.e. Hugh Laurie, Emma Thompson, Tony Slattery and Stephen Fry. I can imagine that Branagh would have had his work cut out for him having that lot working together again...Lol, just got this image of Ken trying to get Emma to stop talking, Hugh and Tony to stop goofing around and to get Stephen to just sit down and pay attention!!

Sounds like pretty much every class I ever took.

I hope this mood goes soon.
