hrm.
Alright. Alive and well - more or less.
Still can't get cuts to work and I'm not sure why. Giving me the shits, but meh. Managed to get my D/L fic posted on my old PIP journal, lol, for the time being, so anyone at Malfoycest has to follow that link to get there and read it. I hope people do. I'll probably post the link here too so other people can read it. So glad it's out there now, though, and that I've got a hard copy of it (heh, hard) because I've been working on it for a long time - since before I went on holidays, lol - and frankly, I'm a little attached to it.
Aside from fic business, life is alright. The weather's been fucked up lately (can't believe I'm actually talking about the weather)...It's supposed to be Spring, but last week it got really hot and humid and then last night and all day today it's been raining. Stupid Global Warming/Cooling/Raining.
Work's been...Fine. I suppose. Frequently logged 15-20,000 steps last week due to the Director's insistence that no one be idle. Hard thing to do when all dusting has been done, all "presentating" (according to Baz) is done and there are no customers to serve. Woo. Could be working in a secure office job earning a damn sight more in the CBD, but no....I like the location. Ugh.
Does anyone remember me talking about how I was totally going to shape up and eat right and all of that bullshit?? Yeah? Me too. Hasn't happened. Couldn't be any less happy with my body, but it's my own fault. I'm lazy and I know it. See, if I had the discipline I used to have (before I got complacent), I'd have a great, toned body by now. But no. I make myself feel better about it by whingeing online instead of actually doing something about it. Huh. Writers really are the greatest procrastinators. Goodo.
Also a cheery (and slightly late) shout out to my brother in Boston, happy birthday, Jymi *huggles*. Hope you had a good one and behaved yourself...Or whatever ;)
Speaking of birthdays, it's my brother's 17th on Thursday. Man, I can't believe the little fucker's going to be seventeen. Seems like only yesterday I was teaching him how to fly...Or, more accurately, convincing him that he could fly and watching him jump of the garage roof. Ain't sibs great?
Anyhow, to wrap it up, here's the link for the new fic titled Dragon in Muggle Clothing. The warnings aren't much; underage sex, certain taboo relationships (so thankful it's fiction;) and anger. Check it: http://feanix-the-2.livejournal.com/3376.html
