Phew.
So, had our first trial game yesterday. In 30+ degree heat. Against the team who won the div. 1 grand finals last year. Great. Needless to say we didn't win. A good game, though, quite the struggle, but we had fun. I hurt, though. A lot. Wasn't sure I was going to be able to be on foot all day today, but I'm posting, lol, so obviously I made it. Oh, and I got sunburned. And it hurts.
Saturday I went to Liverpool to organise an appointment for my new ink. This Saturday, 2pm. Be there or be square. Well, that wasn't an invite. My mother's going to be there to watch me squirm, lol, like the first time. It's going to be on the inside of my left bicep - what bicep there is, anyway - and it's going to hurt like a mofo. Fortunately I have a camera now and can show you. I'm really looking forward to it, even though I know that there's a great chance that it's going to hurt more than my other three just because of the position and none of them were a cakewalk. Lol, I keep getting an image of my skin tearing like tissue paper. It won't be anything like that, of course, but it sets my teeth on edge.
Got a package from my talkin_snack trade partner. It contains Reece's Peanut Butter Cups, some of the best cookies in the universe, trail mix (because you can never go wrong with trail mix), some yummy looking fruit pillow biscuits (more yum) and AND those awesome goldfish cracker thingies you used to be able to get here. I heart them like I heart Dunkaroos...
