This is fucking ridiculous.

I've just done some calculations on how much money travel to Newtown is going to cost me every week.....

I'm not going to be able to aford to work, lol...Half-lol, actually, because it's almost true.

I looked up the trains to get to Newtown from Bankstown. I mean, I've never seen a train to there from Bankstown, but there's one back, so there must be one there. No matter. Anyhow. A weekly rail pass from Bankstown to Newtown will cost $31.00.

The bus from Milperra to Bankstown station costs $4.00 each way. So, $8.00 by 5 days (excluding weekends because I don't know if I'll be working weekends yet) is $40.00.

It's going to cost me $71.00 to get to and from work every day for a week. Fuck. And it sucks because weekly rail tickets count for the weekend too, so I'm paying for two days I might not use.

And agaib, that's if there even is a train from Bankstown to Newtown...Though, it says there is on the CityRail website. Not that that means much, because Sydneysiders know how reliable CityRail is. God. *headdesk*.

Though the weekly rail pass from East Hills to Newtown is $34.00....Hmm. I guess I'd be saving money there, but the bus fare from Milperra to East Hills station is cheaper. Damnit. I have to work this whole thing out again.
