so there's a pair of lovers riding a motorcycle:

Lover 1: Slow down. I'm scared.
Lover 2: No, this is fun.
L1: No it's not. Please, its too scary!
L2: Then tell me you love me.
L1: Fine, I love you. Slow down!
L2: Now give me a BIG hug.
*L1 hugs L2*
L2: Can you take my helmet off & put it on yourself? Its bugging me.

(In the paper the next day):

"A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it, but only one survived."

The truth was that halfway down the road, L2 had realized that L2's brakes broke, but L2 didn't want to let L1 know. Instead, L2 had L1 say L1 loved L2 & felt L1's hug one last time, then had L1 wear L2's helmet so that L1 would live, even though it meant that L2 would die.
