World AIDS Day
December first. Well, that's the date here, anyhow. Surely LJ will become inundated with World AIDS Day posts later on. And rightly so.
It sucks that so many people are still fighting this virus, still having to live with it day in and day out. At least it's not an immediate death sentence today like it used to be, but you can bet your bottom dollar that your life won't be easy.
We know that it's preventable by being sensible and safe when it comes to sexual or drug choices. I hope more people have become aware about the steps they can take to preserve their health...After all, it's really the only thing we have, lol.
So my love and prayers to those who are dealing with HIV/AIDS or have lost someone due to the virus. We still miss you guys, and we still think of you. You will be forever close to us and in our hearts.
Peace, and be safe.
