I'm watching Shallow Hal right now and I realised just how great the message in the movie is. And how well it's done. Especially the bit with the hostess at the fancy restaurant...
It would be so cool if we all saw people as the people they are, who they are really, rather than all that's on the outside. So yeah, some of us are heavier than others, maybe some of us are born into the wrong bodies, perhaps some of us have eating disorders or whatever...We deserve to be seen as who we really are on the inside. Who we were meant to be.
I don't know how I want people to see me. How I should be seen. Who I really am.

Also, I watched American Beauty for the first time last night...I know, it's taken forever to see it, lol, but anyhow. It's a fucking brilliant movie. Very well done. And it's kind of like, if you're not in that sort of place in your life, you're not going to get the message.
