Dieck: Appreciation for the fandom-neglected equivalent of sheer awesome from FE6

I felt bad that I didn't contribute anything to this community, except for the links to those... THINGS that I wrote for the FE Kink Meme, so here's something.

I hope you like.

I think I just wrote the first smut-tastic story (in English) ever with Dieck as one of the main characters.

...Why is it the only one I've seen?

His starting stats are freakishly amazing, his significance and range of supports (aka the triangle with Rutger and Clarine) is statistically one the best in the whole series, his overall stats still end up amazing as well, he has ridiculously high CON, he's a killing machine even with those lame IRON WEAPONS, he's intelligent, and he's hot as hell.  >_>

Even fanart of him is lacking (in various Japanese sites too).

What's wrong with him?

Several months after the war, the Lycia Alliance army split, and the members of the honorable group went their separate ways.  Good-byes were brief since many of them knew that they would meet up with their comrades in the future, while others didn’t need to do so as they went home together.

As the sun set over the horizon of the Ostian prefecture, three figures were seen on the mountainside, planning to part ways as well.

“So, I guess this is it,” mumbled the smallest one.

“Ward and Lott have already gone to their own homes weeks ago, doing who knows what…”

“You’re not worried about them?”

“No.  Why should I?  They’re more than capable of taking care of themselves.  They’ll be fine.”

“Yeah, you’re right.”

“…What about your sisters?”

“They’re waiting for me in Ilia.”

“Well, now that the Dieck Mercenaries have been officially disbanded, you should head back too.”

“It feels kind of wrong to just leave you alone after all this though, captain.”

“Thany, I thought I told you to stop calling me that.”

“But I’m so used to it now!” she whined.

“Just call me Dieck.  You really haven’t gotten over your complex even after they left, have you?”

“Nope!”

“…Fine,” glowered the mercenary as he rolled his eyes.  He decided to change the topic.  “When you get home, you’ll be knighted, right?  Your training’s complete and all.”

Thany gasped before she beamed and went starry-eyed.  “That’s true!  I’ll finally be an official Pegasus knight just like my sisters!”

“In that case, we should be equals the next time we meet,” he concluded.  “So you should stop calling me captain from now on, kid.”

“Hey, I’m not a kid anymore!  I’ve grown stronger over the past few months, and I could hold my own against a lot of other soldiers too!” she pouted and stomped her foot on the ground where her Pegasus was quietly eating some grass.

Dieck smirked and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.  “Aw, my little girl’s all grown up,” he cooed.  “Cute little Thany’s all big and strong now, and old man Dieck can’t take care of her anymore.”

“Oh, stop that,” the girl giggled.  “You’re not even that old.”  She shoved him off playfully before crouching down to pet her steed’s mane.

Laughing as he stumbled a bit, he walked over to them and patted her head, smiling.  “Even so, I really am going to miss you, kid.”

“Promise me you’ll come and visit?” she asked.

“I can’t promise that, but I can try,” Dieck replied.  “Ilia’s too cold, and traveling there’s going to be a problem.”

“Oh.  Well, I can understand the traveling, but Ilia’s not cold,” Thany said, pointing at him.  “You’re just not wearing enough clothes.”

Raising an eyebrow, the male gestured at his raggedy brown cloak, which covered his usual attire.  He shrugged.  “This ought to be fine.”

“That’s barely anything, captain.”

“Dieck.”

“And besides,” Thany continued as if he never said anything.  “The other girls at home would probably want to spend more time with you when…” she trailed off as she turned away, a faint blush staining her cheeks.  Surprised, he walked around until he stood right in front of her.  She turned away in the other direction instead.

Grinning, he patted her shoulder and gave it gentle squeeze.  “You’ve got a crush on me?”  His smile widened when her head snapped forward to reveal her reddened face.

“Well, it didn’t help because you never wore a shirt!  It was pretty hard to pay attention in battle too!  And sleeping in the same tent with you was almost murder!” she blurted before catching herself and lowering her head.

“Thany?” he frowned.

“I…”

“Why didn’t you tell me?”

“…General Klein seemed kind of close to you, so I thought…” she mumbled, not noticing his eyes widening slightly.

Klein, eh?

Feeling somewhat saddened for her, he started, “Thany.”  When she raised her head to face him, he continued, “Don’t worry.  You’ll find someone.”  He didn’t know what else to say, so he just squeezed her shoulder encouragingly.

“Yeah, I guess so, captain,” she said after while.

“Dieck.”

“Um, yeah.  Anyway, what’ll you be doing then?”

“I’ll probably be wandering around,” he shrugged before his eyes narrowed.  “You going to be alright?”

“I’ll get over it,” she smiled determinably, “After all, it’s just a crush!”

“Atta-girl,” he grinned and ruffled her hair.  “Now that’s the Thany I know.”

A moment of silence passed as they both watched sun completely set.  Nightfall soon approached as the ripples of a nearby river gleamed under the moonlight.  Pulling away from her former commander, Thany combed her hair back down with her fingers before giving him a salute.

“Well, I should be going now!”  She took hold of one of his hands and shook it vigorously.  “Thank you for everything, captain!”

Dieck,” he glared.  “And you’re welcome, kid.”

“I really hope we meet up with each other again.”

“Same here.”

“Promise me you’ll keep in touch?” she asked as she climbed onto her Pegasus, grasping at its reins.  Within seconds, they were in the air, flying away at high speed.

“I’ll try,” he laughed at their disappearing forms.

“Promise me, captain!” she yelled within an earshot.

Dieck!  Call me Dieck, damn it!

-

After Thany’s departure, Dieck’s curiosity was piqued concerning that new piece of information involving the sniper.

Who knew? he thought as he headed to Etruria.

Heh, Klein.  Of all people… His pants were becoming increasingly uncomfortable.

It would take the mercenary at least a day to get there, but he wasn’t necessarily in a rush, and it was getting late.  So instead, he decided to rest for the night.  He found a small village that took him in with hospitality and pointed him in the direction of their inn, which he went into immediately.

After booking and paying the fees, he went into his room and locked the door.  Looking over it, he shrugged to himself and dropped his pack to the floor.  His cloak, boots, and shoulder plate soon followed before he quickly divested himself of his pants as well.  His erection greeted him as it twitched in the air invitingly, the candlelight giving everything a soft orange glow.

Leaning against the wall, Dieck brought a palm to his face and licked it before wrapping the turgid length in a tight fist while he flattened his other hand hard against the head of it.  He sighed and started pumping himself in a brisk pace.

It was almost painful, really.  He didn’t have time for this during the war, especially considering the fact that he was busy slicing through enemies and protecting his comrades for the most part.  Not that it bothered Ward or Lott, he glowered, since they weren’t needed on the battlefield as much as him, so they had enough time to alleviate their stress.  He laughed quietly; Thany wound up screaming right after catching one of them in one of the many castles’ kitchens.

He removed his other hand from the end of his dick and brought it up to his chest, slowly tracing at his scars and continuing downward until he reached in between his thighs.  His other hand’s movements didn’t slow down at all when he began massaging his balls.  Instead, he groaned and sped up his ministrations as an image Klein flashed through his mind.

“Fuck,” he exhaled shakily before laying down on the bed.  He licked his lips as he closed his eyes, unconsciously bucking hips at every other stroke, body coated with a light sheen of sweat.  Another image of Klein flashed before he felt himself getting close to orgasm.

“Fuck… fuck… fuck…” Dieck growled.  His hips bucked harder each time as he gripped his cock even tighter.

One…

Two…

Three…

He gritted his teeth and arched his back, clawing at the mattress as several streams of hot semen launched into the air before landing on his torso.  Chest heaving, he slumped back onto the cot, panting.

After regaining his breath, he slowly climbed off the bed and wiped at the mess with his pant leg.  He then pulled the pants back on, idly scratching the back of his head while yawning.  He headed over to a desk and blew out the candle.

I’m going to have to deal with this soon, he thought as he sat on the side of the bed before bringing the pillow to himself and falling fast asleep.

Hours passed by quickly as the crickets chirped outside.

-

The next day wasn’t particularly pleasant.

Maybe I should’ve eaten something before I left, Dieck reflected, clutching his belly as he staggered through the busy streets of Aquleia.  He didn’t notice a familiar blonde walking toward him ahead of time.  Needless to say, they bumped into each other, and he knocked her down fairly roughly.

After hearing a squeaky yelp, he stopped slightly and mumbled an apology in her general direction before walking into an alley.

No sooner had he passed half of it did the mercenary heard a shrill “Excuse me!” and turned around to face the voice’s occupant.  It was that same girl.  He, however, was focused on her hair.  Her shiny hair.  Her smooth, shiny, yellow hair.  It looked so much like honey, he noted, drooling slightly.

His stomach growled.

“You didn’t apologize when I fell down… and you look familiar,” she frowned as she waited for a response.  All she got was a blank stare from him.  Didn’t I already apologize to her? he thought.  Oh, St. Elimine, his head was pounding and her damn voice wasn’t helping at all.

“Right, sorry,” he grumbled and shook his head, walking away from her again.

“Hey!  Don’t just leave like that!”

He ignored her and went on his merry way instead, choosing not to pay attention to her or anyone else for that matter.

-

There it is, Dieck thought as he slowly approached a large mansion in the outskirts of Aquleia.  House Reglay.

He was already later than he had initially thought.  Luckily, there were still a few lights that illuminated through one of the many windows on the first floor.  Oh, damn, I’m hungry, he glowered.  Getting lost and being disoriented clearly didn’t help matters in the least as he lurched forward, knocking loudly on the door.

Several agonizing minutes passed and he bit his lower lip while he rubbed at his belly, attempting to soothe it of as much pain as possible.

They’re taking their fucking sweet time, the mercenary sneered.  He wasn’t in the mood for formalities and was also sore, tired, and hungry.  Not to mention light-headed as well.  He decided to lean on one of the poles of the veranda as he waited.  Another minute went by, and he heard the clicking of some telltale locks being removed before the door opened wide.

Dieck flinched at the abrupt change of light until he heard a familiar voice say his name confusedly.  As he raised his head slightly, which was getting harder to do, he was greeted with a golden mop of hair.  He smiled weakly as he wobbled forward, idly taking note that his stomachache was receding.

“Klein.”

Unfortunately, just as the pain dulled, his consciousness also faded rapidly.  He fell to his knees as the ground quickly rushed to his face.  The last thing he saw was the sniper’s concerned stare before he blacked out.

-

“…ck.”

Where am I?

“Dieck.”

Great.  I’m hearing voices.  Wonderful, the mercenary thought.  Something smells good, though.

Opening his eyes, he sat up on whatever he was lying on and scratched at his bandaged forehead.  …Bandaged?  He shrugged to himself and ignored it.  Instead, the mercenary took in his surroundings, immediately noticing the soft bed that he was lying on.  It was a noble’s quarters.  Draperies were everywhere and a carpet with a convoluted design led to door at the end of the room.  What caught his attention were both the large bow and painting of Lord Pent, Lady Louise, and two children that hung over the fireplace.

A quiet snore to his side broke him from his reverie.

Klein was hunched over his desk, clad in a simple purple tunic and white pants with his head pillowed on his crossed arms.  Slightly bloody fingers clung onto a roll of bandages, his legs were tangled together underneath the seat, and a small plate of crackers was placed near the mercenary.  Dieck also noted that his cloak and shoulder plate were draped on the sniper’s chair, and his belongings were right by it as well.

Rolling off the bed, he stretched slightly, working out of the kinks in his arms and back before reaching for the plate.

“Dieck…”

He froze.

“Dieck…” the blond mumbled again as he buried his head deeper into his arms.  Heh, Klein’s dreaming about me? he deduced before shoving several crackers into his mouth.  Thany was right, after all.  Mildly satiated, he walked over to his pack, pulled out a leather rag, and began shining his silver sword.  He accidentally bumped the blade on one the chair’s legs, waking the sniper up.

Rubbing at his eyes, Klein yawned and attempted to climb off his chair.  Assuming that he thought he was in his bed, he didn’t untangle his legs from the chair’s and fell backwards stupendously, furniture and all.

“My head…” he groaned.

“And a ‘morning to you too, Master Klein,” came a deep voice.  The blond blinked owlishly when he saw his guest, idly watching him stay tangled in a chair in his own bedroom.

“D-Dieck?”

“Yeah, that’s my name.”

“You… you really came!  I wasn’t dreaming after all!” he blurted, shutting up immediately when he saw him smirk.

“Dreaming?”

“…Nothing,” he coughed as he pried the piece of furniture off himself, a faint blush on his cheeks.  “Is your head alright?  It was bleeding pretty badly when you fell.”

“It’s fine, Klein,” the mercenary said, tugging at one of the stray straps.  “You’ve gotten better at this, I see.”

“Well, with the war, I wanted to help take care of other soldiers whenever General Roy didn’t want me on the battlefield so that I could recover from my injuries.  I asked Ellen to teach me the basics.”

“Hm.”

“I’m not really good though.  I didn’t have enough time to learn more about applying medication and-“

“Don’t worry about it,” Dieck said, waving him off.  “You did fine.  You wanted to stop the bleeding, and you did just that.”

“Erm… Thank you.”

The mercenary’s stomach growled loudly.  Apparently, those crackers that he ate didn’t do much.  Grinning sheepishly, he asked, “You wouldn’t happen to have anything else to eat, would you?”

Klein beamed.

-

He never knew that a person could eat like that.  No, he never knew that anything alive was capable of eating so much in one sitting.  Klein mutely stared at the mercenary with avid fascination as the latter gorged himself with plate after plate of food.  He quickly looked down at his comparatively pitiful excuse of a meal before watching Dieck again.

Pastries were consumed.

Fruit were peeled and devoured.

Pitchers of water were ingested with ease.

Even the smoked chicken disappeared within minutes.

Where in the world does he put all that? he questioned, cringing slightly when a bowl of potato salad was inhaled.  Doesn’t he ever choke?

Think about it this way, he mind rationalized.  He won’t choke if he does THAT.

The blond’s eyes bugged out at that thought, and the scrambled egg he was currently chewing on lodged itself in his larynx.

A beat.

“Klein?” Dieck halted his feast and looked at the sniper worriedly.  The younger male was pounding at his chest, face reddening as he gagged.  Quickly comprehending, he jumped over to the other side of the table before wrapping his arms around the sniper’s waist from behind.  He squeezed tightly, forcing the other to hop slightly, and repeated it several times until an undigested yellow blob was hacked onto the floor.

The blond’s body was oddly tensed.

“…Klein?” the mercenary asked.  “You alright now?”

“…Y-yeah,” he coughed.  His face was still an unhealthy shade of red, but not mostly due to the choking anymore.  Oh, St. Elimine, he’s so close…

He frowned when the mercenary returned to his side of the table to continue eating again.  Wiping at his brow, he sat back down and saw him inhale yet another bowl of potato salad, only this time drinking gravy from a ladle right after.  However, this was bad.

Very bad.

The ladle obviously wasn’t meant for that since several trails of gravy spilled from it, splashing onto Dieck’s chest… tracing his muscles as they went lower… and lower… and…

A twitch.

WHY MUST YOU TORMENT ME SO?! he mentally screamed.  He stood up abruptly, spilling over some food and catching the mercenary’s attention, and stiffly walked out of the dining room.  With a clipped tone, he grumbled, “I must go do something right now.  I’ll be back in a few minutes.”

The door shut immediately thereafter, leaving the older male alone in the room.  Klein, however, ran through the halls, looking for a washroom in order to relieve himself of his predicament.
