A little challenge, because there's nothing else to do
My challenge to you is this: write either a brief scenario or a full-blown fic (preferred, of course!) explaining how two (or more) characters are somehow related. I cannot offer any prizes, but it ought to be interesting to see what everyone comes up with. If you're still not sure what I mean, I'm talking about something similar to the situation with Kurthnaga being Soren's great-great-something uncle in "Once a Prince." Any characters from any FE are allowed.
Some rules before things get out of hand:
1. Obviously, characters with an established relationship (Eliwood and Roy, Ike and Mist, etc) don't count.
2. Don't use this as an opportunity to write incest smut. That's not the point.
3. Absurdity is all right (maybe even encouraged), but don't write anything completely implausible. There is no way Eliwood could somehow be Ninian's brother.
4. You may not change a character's established background. Elaborating and speculation are fine, but no direct contradictions to anything stated in-game. For example, you cannot somehow change Ike into a laguz or make Eirika and Ephraim the children of the village shoemaker.
Characters with unclear backgrounds are probably easier to work with. I'd give you an example, but that would ruin the plot of a fanfic I have planned.
Let's get creative!
