Need more fanart...and stuff

I wonder where beanclam and asidan went. Maybe writing the next volume of Mark of the Succubus? I'm still waiting for beanclam to draw Soren literally hiding behind Ike's apron, like Shinon says when you have Soren attack him.

I got to thinking last night that Ike and Soren's C support isn't as pointless as I thought. It shows Soren's more caring side and indicates how close he and Ike are. And I got the cutest mental picture of Soren tucking Ike into bed and giving him a kiss on the forehead. I wonder if that's too much affection to expect from Soren? If I could draw, I would SO do a fanart of that. If anyone else wants to take up the challenge.....

Some of the stuff Soren says (yay for alliteration!) indicates he's REALLY REALLY attatched to Ike. Apparently, not only is Ike his only friend, if you get Ike killed later on in the game, Soren responds to his death speech with something like "What am I going to do without you here?" Soren is like a tree with his roots firmly anchored to Ike. If something happened to Ike, I really think Soren might either waste away and die or completely lose his sanity. For someone who's such a loner, he seems emotionally dependent on Ike.

I had a dream the other night that might just be a really good fanfic idea. Basically, it answers the question "What will Soren do when Ike dies?" In the dream, he had been made a lord by Elincia or something and locked himself away in a seaside villa after Ike's death. Because he never left the house, it became something of a mystery as to who lived there. Eventually, people (originally, I think a kid, but I would probably change it to Crimean nobles and one of Elincia's descendants) start to get curious and try to solve the mystery.

Sad, isn't it? Video games often creep into my dreams.
