Shounen-ai mad lib type thing

My writing muse refuses to write decent fanfiction, so a generator will have to do for you.

Well, actually, it’s more like one of those mad-lib things.

I find that this will read most fluently if you copy and paste the story part of it underneath the cut to a Microsoft Word document, or something else that can replace words. On Microsoft Word, you press Ctrl+F, then click on the “replace” tab, type in the number (with the brackets) in the “Find what” field, and the word you’ve chosen in the “Replace with” field.

But of course, you could always just remember what you had for each number. It’s sort of painstaking reading it that way, though.

I recommend using past-tense for all verbs.

[1] Choose a seme.
[2] Choose a uke.
[3] A relaxing or peaceful abstract noun.
[4] A tense or sad abstract noun.
[5] A positive/happy adjective.
[6] Another happy adjective.
[7] A negative/sad adjective.
[8] Another sad adjective.
[9] A sexual body part.
[10] A place you can put [9]. In/On your body, of course.
[11] A number from 1 to 9
[12] A location on the same continent as the place [1] and [2] are.
[13] Another location on that continent, but not the same as [12].
[14] The country your characters are in.
[15] Depressing weather.
[16] Stuff that falls or floats in [15].
[17] An action verb. Preferably something that’s a large movement. (AKA, I don’t want “tickled” here. If you do... well, it’s YOUR crack.)
[18] A drink that’s not good for you, but people seem to love anyway.
[19] A type of deep thought.
[20] An abstract noun that would prevent [1] and [2] from getting together. (EX: death, misfortune...) More specific things work better.
[21] The negative effects of [18], noun form.
[22] [1]’s favorite way to tell people to fuck off. Yes, you’re allowed to use phrases.
[23] A negative adverb.
[24] A verb that leads to [20] happening.
[25] An expression of love. Should be in a phrase. Should be able to fit in a sentence such as “I ____ last night.” (Of course, I’d prefer that it isn’t dirty, but that’s the most generic sentence I can come up with.)
[26] A place where you can get [18]
[27] The main lord of whatever FE game [1] and [2] are from. If there are multiple (like if you chose Karel and Bartre, for example. *gags at the thought*), then choose whichever one you’d like.
[28] The object of worship in the FE game [1] and [2] are from. (EX: In Rekka no Ken, that would be Elimine.)

And if your character choices happen to defy canon... it’s AU. And if get something really WTF, I demand for you to comment with the thing you ended up with! ^_^

... Yes, I know, that’s a lot of things I asked you for. But I really didn’t want the serious stories to end up as crack, so I needed specifics.

(If you really want crack in the angst story, though, make [18] coffee. *nods* And filling in 21 and 26 accordingly. XD)

[1] sipped [7] at the [18], [19]ing again about [2] and his [20]. [1] stared out the window, where [16] fell in false [3]. The [15] seemed to agree with him, and [1] sighed, waving a waitress over.

“[1]?” she questioned, picking up his now-empty cup of [18]. “You seem to be coming here more often lately.” She tilted her head. “Is something the matter? You’re usually so paranoid about getting [21]....”

“[22],” he muttered [23], leaning forward to hold his head in his hand. “It’s nothing you can help.”

The waitress apparently took slight offense from this. “You know, you haven’t been yourself lately....”

“Am I supposed to be?!” [1] growled suddenly, waving his arms around in a desperate gesture. “They [24] him! [24] him! And he was taken away before...” – his throat cracked, and [1] swallowed, catching himself and stabilizing his voice – “before I even [25]....”

[1] glanced around the [26] uneasily, and noticed that everyone who was not [21] was staring at him, possibly plotting to maim him. [1] slumped down back into his usual manner again, back to sitting [23] and waiting for the waitress to hurry up and get his second order of [18].

The waitress shook her head, walking towards the counter, picking up another cup of [18] and walking back over to hand it to him. [1] immediately took it and took a large gulp, ignoring the fact that he was starting to get [21]. He set it down harshly, and bits of the [18] splashed onto the table.

The waitress glared at him. “My job is not to clean up after all your messes,” she grumbled, taking the cup of [18] and lifting it, wiping the counter underneath with a damp towel. [1] paid no attention, already too lost in his [21]ness to notice. He remembered a song from his childhood – “Even if it may seem [7]/ I stare out into the [15] and find/ That the [16] has no meaning in my life/ And that [28] will find a way/ For there to be [3] in [4].”

[1] continued to stare distantly out the window, wondering inanely if there would truly be [3] in [4], or if that [4] of his was empty, devoid of any light, devoid of all [3].

The waitress set the cup down and left huffily, and [1] glanced at the dampness on the counter, watching the water evaporate slowly, leaving in an almost evanescent manner, until the counter was dry again.

Forbidden love? his [8] mind asked him. How quickly it’s taken away... almost as if it was wiped away, the last of it misting into the air. I only wish it would take this [4] along with it.

I only have the angst story frame right now, but I’ll have a Humor, Fluff, Introperspective, and Bad Lemon story frame up later. (That’s why you haven’t used up all those numbers yet.)

... And I’d save you the pain of find-replace-ing all that if I knew javascript. But I don’t.
