Author's note: I'm still learning how to draw, so hope it didn't fall into the uncanny valley? Tried to use a cutesy style like Adventure Time with some superdeformed/chibi. Prompt was "Lyn/Florina doing something fluffy outdoors together." For

Florina loves the Sacaen plains. They are much warmer than Ilia and, though it can be full of mosquitoes and other blood sucking bugs, as well as dangerous bees, it is a much friendlier place. Even though there are occasional bandit raids in Sacae; there were many more raids back in Ilia. The nomad tribes are so friendly, always hospitable. They keep their words and never lie. Food is abundant as long as one knows where to look, and with a pegasus to help looking it is only easier.
And Lyn is here. Florina wouldn't know what to do without Lyn.
Because things are different in the plains, one of the things that Florina have to relearn is how to do laundry. It was simple back in Ilia. It was often too cold outside, so all laundry was done inside in wooden pails, then hung and left to dry inside, both because it's warmer inside and because it restores some of the humidity lost from the heating. In Sacae, however, laundry must be done outside and dried outside, in running water and under the sun.
So this morning Lyn wakes Florina up, pile the dirty blankets and clothes in two baskets and hand one to Florina.
"We are going to do laundry," Lyn tells her.

And when the chore is done and troubles past, they fall asleep, back to back, to the scent of grass and the warmth of the sun, Florina dreams that the white blankets above them became pegasi; and carry them back to Ilia, not the frozen wasteland, but an Ilia of glory and peace, covered in green like the Sacaen plains, only with less mosquitoes and indoor laundry.
