Challenge 017: Laughter
Picked by the winner of our last round,
samuraiter!
Theme: "Laughter"
Word Count: NO minimum, 5000-word maximum
"The test of a real comedian is whether you laugh at him before he opens his mouth."
– George Jean Nathan
"The theme I choose is laughter. After all, there are lighter moments amidst all the fighting, death, and loss, and these are often the moments that are best remembered long after the story is over. Also, as the quote suggests, the characters who make us laugh the most are not always the ones we expect. Why not take that and run with it?"
Entries are due on Saturday, December 24th, at 11:59 PM EST. If you need an extension, send a PM to me,
myaru, or
starlitlady. We will give everyone a nudge prior to the due date. :)
Go wild, guys.
