Challenge 015: Crack Pairings

Theme: Crack Pairings
Word Restrictions: 1,000-word minimum, 4,000-word maximum.
For this challenge, your fic, should you choose to write one, must be centered around a crack pairing. But first, I think it's important to clarify what a crack pairing is, and what it is not. A crack pairing is a pairing between characters who have had very few, if any at all, interactions in canon. In fact, the characters in question may not have ever met at all in canon, or may even be from different gameverses. A crack pairing is not the same as a rare or unusual pairing - for example, Eliwood/Fiora may be considered a rare pairing, but it is definitely supported by canonical and subtextual interactions. I think it's also important to note that the implications of the word crack don't have to extend to the mood of your fic - that is, crack pairings can be serious too. They don't have to be all about humor and silliness, though of course that's fine too.
