[Challenge #11: Woman King] "His Woman-king"
Title: "His Woman-king"
Game: Fire Emblem 3/12
Word Count: 500 says Microsoft Word
Characters: Caeda, brief appearance by Ryan, mention of Marth
Warnings: Spoilers for FE3/12 if you've never played it/read game scripts.
Notes: It took three tries but I managed to beat this thing into submission and barely got it under the maximum word count. I interpreted 'woman king' probably in a different way than everyone else did, and I got this interpretation near the end of the fic when I wrote the line "behind every great king in history is a woman-king standing beside him, supporting and helping him always", and the meaning becomes clear in the end line. A woman-king is obviously a queen, because that's the female version of a king. However, for this fic, there was a difference between a queen and a woman-king, and why Caeda is both at the same time depending on who is looking at her.
Disclaimer: I don't own Fire Emblem or any of its characters, I'm just playing with them. Making no money, etc. etc.
