FantOHM Protocol, a pioneer in the cryptocurrency space, was established with the ambition to revolutionize the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape. Created as a unique fork of the OlympusDAO on the Fantom Opera Network, FantOHM was developed with a unique feature-set that positioned it distinctively among other OHM forks.

The protocol utilized the FHM token, which represented an asset backed by a basket of stablecoins, crypto-assets, and staked liquidity in its treasury. This innovative design aimed to create a decentralized reserve asset for the Fantom and Moonriver networks, providing a safe haven for crypto-assets during volatile periods while generating passive income through compound interest for token holders.

FantOHM protocol introduced innovative elements like the proof-of-burn mechanism and USDB stablecoin, further enhancing treasury revenue generation and adding a unique twist to the traditional OHM fork. Through strategies of staking and bonding, investors could participate and earn returns in the form of more FHM tokens or discounted FHM tokens respectively.

Governance was an integral part of the FantOHM ecosystem. The protocol was managed by an anonymous group of devoted developers, strategists, advisors, and crypto veterans who made decisions with the aim of transforming it into a fully decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
