Thank you Shihab. I’m a recent follower here and this is just what I needed to read this morning as a fellow (British) Bangladeshi atheist. It’s a weird lonely kind of day. I feel like you, the fomo is real….as well as the longing for that feeling of togetherness and understanding, the rush of excitement, of putting on new clothes in the morning and visiting relatives all day long. And eating until those new threads are bursting at the seams!
Well, Eidom Mubarak to you. Tomorrow I’ll go back to the relief of finding my freedom, but for today… thank you for this piece of solidarity.

Ps there’s a small mosque down our way where many of the parents from my boys primary school attend if you’d like to try something new. Xx
