Fair Limiter is an AUv3 audio unit plugin that digitally replicates the Fairchild 670, a legendary and highly esteemed tube compressor/limiter renowned for its outstanding audio quality and unique sonic character. Features: - Use as an AUv3 plugin in GarageBand, Logic Pro, AUM, or other DAW - Digital emulation of the Fairchild 670 - Features all the controls of the legacy Fairchild 670 - Adds additional control with the sidechain filters and boost - Variable-Mu compression - Fast attack, slow release times - 6386 tube simulation - Stereo or Mid/Side setup - Linking of stereo controls and sidechain output The free version allows you to test Fair Limiter completely, but every minute the limiter will be silent for 3 seconds. To remove these limits there is a one time in-app purchase.

Version History - Extra toggle switch that allows to choose between simulation (CPU intensive but better sound quality) or approximation of the tubes. - Double tap on a control to revert to the default value. - Higher precision control when dragging. Vertical dragging on a knob makes large changes to the knob value, while horizontal dragging on a knob applies very fine changes to the knob value. - The oversample rate and the tube simulation/approximation toggle value are not saved anymore with the presets, but are kept as a global state. This allows to choose the best setting for your current hardware (higher oversample rate gives better results but uses more CPU power. Simulation gives better results but uses more CPU power). Flipping through the presets will not change your CPU usage setting anymore. 1.3 10/20/2025 - Dark mode - User interface improvements for smaller screens 1.2 07/05/2024 - This version has a much faster tube emulation. This gives a very substantial reduction of CPU load when using Fair Limiter in a DAW. - I added some factory presets. 1.1 07/02/2024 1.0 06/03/2024
