Rootless is a gay furry visual novel with NSFW content, built around fate, connection, and identity.

Munin Solweyn arrives at Halden College of Arts in the Town of Whiteford for a two-month intensive semester. Unfamiliar faces, a compressed timeline, relationships that form fast. These are the bonds that matter because they don't last.

Something else is happening underneath all of it. Forces pulling at memory, at fate, at the people closest to Munin. The line between ordinary life and something wrong blurs gradually. This is a story about holding onto something so dearly, knowing you're going to lose it.

Rootless features three dateable characters across branching routes, each carrying their own weight into the story. Updates will continue as development progresses. If you play it, we'd genuinely love to know what you think. Any support, such as feedback, donations, just playing means more than we can say. <3

Rootless is made by Faeravak, (Vowmiire & Crimdial). We started this project in March of 2025, spending over a year developing just the beginning, because we wanted something that felt relatable & hit nicely, therefore we're building it the way we'd want to experience it ourselves.

Updates will be consistent, ranging from 2-3 months depending on workload.
